Retarder Paste

• Retarder Paste is an additive specifically designed for screen printing applications.
• It is a grease-like paste, recommended to be added at 5–10% into the ink.
• It helps slow down the evaporation and drying rate of the ink during printing.
• It reduces ink flowability while extending the drying time, and also lowers ink viscosity. This prevents ink from excessive spreading, ensuring sharp and clear print images, and enhances the density of text and fine lines.
• It is widely used for fine patterns, thin lines, halftone dots, and rough surface substrates. It can also be applied to reduce ink viscosity and to delay premature drying on the screen, preventing screen clogging.
