Coates Screen HM VP/K Retarder Paste

• The HM VP/K Retarder Paste is suitable for Coates Screen screen printing inks.
• The retarder paste is used to add 10-20% of the ink into the printing liquid.
• Add the retarder paste into inks to reduce evaporation speed of the inks.
• Adding the retarder paste into the applied ink may increase the fluidity and processing time of the inks, and the mixture can be used for printing fine and clear artworks. In short, adding the retarder paste prevents the applied ink from clogging which results from fast evaporation speed of the ink.
• Universal use as an additive in printing fine artworks, halftone and printing on slightly rough surfaces.
• In the application of pad printing ink, it can reduce the viscosity of the ink, increase the solid content of the ink, and improve the ink transfer effect of pad printing.
• Note that the ink opacity and gloss level may be reduced if the retarder paste is overused in the ink.
