  • Carborundum ground cliché plates has stronger doctoring resistance as well as longer product life.
  • Carborundum ground cliché plates has smoother surface due to less traces which left on the post-process surface. The aforementioned characteristic leads to etching fine and delicate images on the cliché plates.(Smooth plate surface reduces friction and resistance between the doctoring ring and the cliché plate meanwhile increasing the product life)
• Non-carborundum ground cliché plates look grey color.
• Polished cliché plates look light grey from the surface.(Special for water-based ink in printing on contact lenses); with the use of polished cliché plates, there will not be residues on the surface when doctoring.
